Black Out Night (Wednesday, August 28 at 8:00 pm) is an intentional creation of space for Black-identifying patrons to experience this powerful Black family drama alongside passionate members of their community. This performance will be followed by a post-show talkback with Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director and The Brothers Size playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney.
Can I attend if I am not Black-identifying? All patrons are welcome to attend and no one will be excluded, but we ask that patrons who do not identify as Black honor the space being created for those who do.
How is this different from Black Partners Appreciation Night? While similar in concept to a Black Out Night, our Black Partners Appreciation Night events are fundraisers for third-party community partner organizations and include a hosted reception and after-party.
