Qween is a proud Haitian storyteller and human rights activist committed to protecting all humanity. She is honored to create the costumes for Liberation; an ongoing mission to unite our collective power! Recent design credits include Saturday Church, Oh Happy Day!, The Swamp Dwellers, Wedding Band, Macbeth in Stride, Walden, The Amen Corner, and Cats: The Jellicle Ball! She founded Black Trans Liberation, an organization that provides weekly fellowship, food, groceries, and housing resources for the TGNC community. She is the author of Revolution is Love: A Year of Black Trans Liberation. She is the recipient of an AUDELCO Award, Obie Award, Henry Hewes Design Award, and a finalist for NYC’s The David Prize. She received her M.F.A. from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. “NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL.”
