Paul was last seen at the Geffen as Luther in Superior Donuts. Last fall he created the role of Frank in the LA Weekly nominated production of Patty Scanlon's world premiere of Death of a Salesgirl at the Bootleg Theater. He originated the roles of the Cabbie in Will Kern's Hellcab at The Famous Door Theatre in Chicago, and the titular Killer Joe in the world premiere of Tracy Letts' play at the Next Lab in Evanston. LA reprisals of those roles earned LA Weekly and Ovation awards. He understudied and occasionally performed the role of the Tiger in Center Theatre Group’s Taper production of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
