Erin Bednarz is a multidisciplinary theater artist whose work spans sound design, music, performance, production, and dramaturgy. She is known for creating immersive sonic landscapes that amplify the emotional core of theatrical storytelling. Erin holds the LA Drama Critics Circle, Bay Area Critics Circle, and Gregory Awards for Outstanding Sound Design, and her designs have been seen both Off‑Broadway and in numerous regional theaters across the U.S. In addition to her design work, Erin is a committed educator and mentor: she has taught at a variety of institutions including NYU, Cal Poly, Pomona College, Cornish College of the Arts, University of Washington, and is a current lecturer at UC Riverside. Beyond design and teaching, Erin was previously Producing Director at Washington Ensemble Theatre, a founding member of dramaturgical incubator Umbrella Project, and one quarter of Cheat Day Collective. Her sound and musical work have been featured in high‑profile press outlets including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Erin is currently enrolled at pointblank Music School as a We Are Moving The Needle scholar studying Music Production and Sound Design. @play__pranks
