Emilio is a five-time Tony Award–nominated costume designer. Some of his Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, A Beautiful Noise, Ain’t No Mo’, 1776, Good Night, Oscar, Motown: The Musical, On Your Feet!, Trouble in Mind, Porgy and Bess, and Topdog/Underdog. His most recent projects Jesus Christ Superstar starring Cynthia Erivo and Adam Lambert, Masquerade, and Chez Joey. He has designed the Radio City Music Hall Spring Spectacular and ChristmasSpectacular. He received a 2025 Emmy Award nomination for Descendants: The Rise of Red. He has collaborated with Usher, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, and Gloria Estefan, and has appeared on TV’s Project Runway. As the former Chair of the American Theatre Wing, Emilio continues to champion access and representation in the arts. @esosafashion
