Broadway: Nora Ephron’s Lucky Guy starring Tom Hanks directed by George C. Wolfe, Six Degrees of Separation (original Broadway company), The Gathering, and Getting and Spending. Off-Broadway/Regional: Most recently POTUS (“Harriet”) at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. “Li’l Bit” in Paula Vogel’s Pulitzer Prize–winning How I Learned to Drive (original production and Arena Stage), Macbeth at The Old Globe (as “Lady Macbeth”), and well over one hundred productions spanning decades. Best known as “Rhonda Pearlman” from the classic David Simon series The Wire, “Cynthia Panabaker” on NBC’s The Blacklist, and “The Gravedigger” on Bones. Deirdre has played murderous moms, crooked cops, crackerjack lawyers, demented doctors, and serial killers on dozens of television shows including Raising Dion, The West Wing, Girls, Orange Is the New Black, Shameless, and Law & Order, to name a few.
