Caroline Heffernan hails from Chicago and is making her Geffen Playhouse debut. Her credits include leading roles in world premieres by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwrights Tracy Letts and David Rabe, Young Mary Page in Mary Page Marlowe and Frannie in Good for Otto. Other roles include Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), Annie in Annie (Paramount Theatre), Young Kim (Chicago Lyric Opera), and roles in the regional Tony Award-winning theaters Lookingglass Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Writers Theatre. Her television and film credits include Teen Jesse in Lifetime Movie Channel’s My Daughter Was Stolen, Ariel Green in NBC’s Chicago Med and Ella in NBC’s Chicago Fire. Heffernan is an award-winning USAG gymnast, a Commended National Merit Scholar and a high school varsity cheerleader.
