Amber has been an actress and author since the age of 10. She has been nominated for an Emmy, Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award for her work in television and film, including Joan of Arcadia, House M.D., The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours and critically acclaimed Stephanie Daley opposite Tilda Swinton. Currently she can be seen on Two and a Half Men on CBS. Most recently, she starred in Quentin Tarantino’s live reading of The Hateful Eight at the Ace Theater in Los Angeles. She has two collections of poetry, Free Stallion and Bang Ditto and her third book, Dark Sparkler (Harper Collins 2015), is an intimate look into the lives and deaths of child star actresses, with art by David Lynch and Marilyn Manson. Next up, Amber wrote and will direct a feature film based on Paint It Black, the acclaimed novel by Janet Fitch.
