Love Theater?

Geffen Playhouse seeks friendly and engaging theater enthusiasts to join our team of volunteer ushers. Volunteers are expected to take direction from staff, arrive on time, remain at their assigned posts, and assist with tasks including, greeting patrons, seating assistance, accessibility accommodations, and clean up at the end of performances.

View our Volunteer Handbook for more details. Ushers are compensated with an opportunity to sit standby for the Geffen Playhouse production for which they volunteer free of charge. If accepted, volunteers are scheduled to work once per show in the Gil Cates Theater season.
