Israel is very honored to be making his Geffen Playhouse debut. You can catch him in Issa Rae’s HBO Max series Rap Sh!t. He was most recently featured in this summer’s critically acclaimed Afro-futurist production of Twelfth Night as Feste at The Classical Theatre of Harlem. Before that he starred as Pharus Young in Choir Boy at Yale Repertory Theatre, where he was also seen in Father Comes Home From the Wars: Part 1. Israel holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the Yale School of Drama where his credits include blues for miss lucille, Hamlet, If Pretty Hurts Ugly Must Be a Muhfucka, Slave Play, among others. He also holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University. @runninerrons
