EPMcKnight is a graduate of Fordham University Lincoln Center, New York City where she received her master’s degree in educational psychology and is currently working on her doctoral degree in general psychology for performance psychology. Ms. McKnight is a LAUSD elementary substitute teacher, fitness instructor, playwright, author, and actress. She founded Nikao Imani Productions, a non-profit company that produces stage productions and community events. She has worked extensively in theatre, film, and television. Most notable are her three one-person shows: I Question America—Legacy of Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer; With Grace I Stand—Legacy of Madam C.J. Walker, Thea Bowman, Shirley Chisolm, Barbara Jordan, Mary Church Terrell, and Mary E. Pleasant; and On My Own Terms—A Nina Simone Story, which has been presented nationally and internationally at universities, schools, and private organizations. Commercial, TV, and film credits include: General Hospital, CareerBuilder.com, Dasani Water, ER, Passions, Zodiac, Rat Race, Cradle Swapping, CainAbel, Thick Water, Domme, Dream, Stronger Than Pretty, The Funeral Flowers, Vicious, and In the Company of Assassins. Am thrilled and thankful to be making my debut performance at the Geffen Playhouse in The Inheritance.
