Eduardo’s costume design career spans over 40 years, beginning with an apprenticeship at Western Costume Company in Hollywood, assisting costume designers Ann Roth, Theadora Van Runkle, and Julie Weiss, among others. After working on the series Fame, famed designer Milena Canonero asked Eduardo to collaborate on the fourth season of the iconic series Miami Vice. Further collaborations with Milena Canonero include Warren Beatty’s Bulworth and Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris. Eduardo is the recipient of seven Emmy Award nominations, five Costume Designers Guild Awards, and the 2013 Career Achievement Award; his first Emmy nomination was for Also Starring Pancho Villa as Himself, followed by nominations for the CBS Television film Elvis, Ugly Betty, and Once Upon a Time. Film and television credits include: Bird on a Wire, Sugar Hill, The Perez Family, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love, What’s Cooking?, Bride and Prejudice, The Wedding, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Pepper Dennis, Eastwick, and The Call of the Wild. Theater credits include: Theatre West, The Group Rep, Kresge Theatre in Pittsburgh, and various small theaters around Los Angeles. M.F.A in Costume Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
