Health & Safety

Welcome back to Geffen Playhouse! The health, safety, and well-being of our patrons, artists, employees, and all Geffen visitors remain our top priorities, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back to our theater in the fall. You can read the full lineup of our newly reimagined 25th Anniversary Season here.

COVID-19 VACCINATIONS & MASKS REQUIRED

For the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and artists, Geffen Playhouse’s current COVID-19 policy requires guests to be vaccinated and to wear masks. Upon arrival and prior to entering the building, all guests must present proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, either in the form of a physical vaccination card, a digital vaccination card, or a photo of the card. All guests over the age of 12 must present a photo ID along with their proof of vaccination. Children ages 6 to 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Guests who are exempt from COVID-19 vaccinations due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours before entering the building and present their negative results at the door. To be eligible for an exemption due to a medical condition or restriction, or a sincerely held religious belief, a patron must provide a verbal self-attestation to qualify for the exemption.

Geffen Playhouse is partnering with CLEAR to expedite the entry process with Health Pass. For those who are interested in speeding up their entry time into the theater, you'll be able to download a free app, easily register your vaccination, and show your health pass on your phone at the door. CLEAR is a trusted platform for 100+ partners across the country.
