William
Davies King

William Davies King is editor of the multimedia edition (enhanced e-book) of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, which is an extension of his critical edition (Yale University Press, 2014 and 2016). He is working on a similar critical edition of The Iceman Cometh and recently completed six years of editing the biannual Eugene O’Neill Review. His scholarly writings on O’Neill largely concern the playwright’s marriage to Agnes Boulton. A few years ago he grew a mustache to perform as O’Neill in a frame play concerning O’Neill’s long-lost one-act Exorcism, which resurfaced in 2011 by way of Agnes Boulton. He has also written books about Wallace Shawn and Sir Henry Irving, and his Collections of Nothing, concerning his habits as a collector of things of no value, was named one of the best books of 2008 by amazon.com. His work as a bibliolage artist can be seen at williamdaviesking.com.
