Hirschhorn

Ben Hirschhorn is an actor, writer, and director best known for his work in the films Closets Keep Suburban Boys Home (2020) and Practice Funeral (2019) for which he received the Best Actor award at the Los Angeles Short Film and Script Festival. A native New Yorker, Ben studied acting at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts and ventured out to the West Coast to attend USC's B.FA. Acting program. He made his directorial debut with his new short film Goggles (2022), which is currently making its way through the festival circuit. Additionally, he was notably seen in the 2018 New York Stage and Film production of As You Like It as “Rosalind/Ganymede.” You'll find Ben next playing the loveable “Malcolm” in the new Tupac inspired film Amaru (2022), which will have its world premiere at the Pan African Film Festival.
